WHO AM I?
GRAPHIC DESIGNER, ILLUSTRATOR AND FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER
I am the author of 'Artists Breaking the Binary' and I developed this site with a purpose, to bring exposure to artists now, and in the past, who bring more gender representation into our art rooms.Through my graphic design work, I aspire to be a catalyst for positive change in the world of social justice and gender equality. I believe that art and design have the power to influence hearts and minds, and my goal is to use this creative platform to raise awareness, provoke thought, and inspire action. I want my designs to serve as a visual voice for marginalized communities and to challenge stereotypes, biases, and injustices. My approach to graphic design is rooted in the principles of inclusivity, diversity, and equity. I aim to represent underrepresented voices and stories, creating visuals that resonate with people from all backgrounds. By embracing these values, I hope to contribute to a more inclusive and equal society where everyone is seen, heard, and valued.
Through my designs, I strive to take my audience on a journey, allowing them to see the threads that connect each project and discover the underlying themes that run throughout. I believe that visual design can be a powerful communication tool for change and advocacy. Beyond the aesthetics, my work is deeply rooted in my commitment to social and environmental issues.
I see graphic design as a communicative tool for education and advocacy. I want my work to serve as a vehicle for spreading knowledge about social justice issues and promoting gender equality. Whether it's through eye-catching infographics, impactful posters, or thought-provoking illustrations, I want to convey complex ideas in a way that is accessible and engaging to a broad audience.
I'm committed to collaborating with organizations and individuals who share these values, using my design skills to support their initiatives and amplify their messages. By working together, we can create a collective impact that goes beyond aesthetics and contributes to real, meaningful change. In this journey to change the world of social justice and gender equality through graphic design, my ultimate goal is to inspire empathy, encourage conversations, and foster a more equitable and just society. With each project, I hope to take a step closer to a world where the principles of social justice and gender equality are not just ideals but the lived reality for all.
